- Friday. Working pattern to be discussed but must include a Friday. With some flexibility to cover occasional events and sessions at weekends and in the evenings.

**About Martin House**

Martin House has been caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions from West, North and East Yorkshire for more than 35 years. Every year we care for more than 420 families at our hospice in Boston Spa, in hospitals and in their own homes. We also support more than 150 bereaved families each year.

**About the role**

We are looking for a passionate and creative part-time Graphic Designer to take on this newly created role. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, you will work collaboratively with other members of the marketing team and different departments across the organisation on a wide range of projects spanning offline and digital channels.

This role will sit within the marketing department and will be key to helping us make the most of opportunities, promote core hospice services and fundraising initiative, by producing compelling marketing assets for use across offline and digital channels. Along with this, you will support in the production of internal communication pieces aimed at our staff and volunteers and assist with the creation of marketing literature to promote our education services and additional professional offerings.

You will be an excellent time keeper, enthusiastic and have a positive can-do attitude. You will be a genuine team player and passionate about the work we do, designing collateral to promote our vision and purpose through high-quality graphic content.

You will have:

- In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Professional design experience.
- Previous experience designing for both offline and digital channels.
- Be proficient working on a wide range of projects from initial brief to completion.
- Experience of designing for internal channels such as internal comm.
- Solid people skills, and the ability to work effectively across all functions of the organisation.
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and be a genuine team player.
