**Junior Graphic Designer / Social Media Marketing Assistant**

Our In-house design studio is currently looking to recruit a junior graphic designer to support the current graphic designer and design/brand manager, due to an increased workflow coming from our sister companies.

We are primarily a print studio, but there are aspects of digital, including creating content for Social Media to the role too.

We specialise in multiple page documents; brochures, magazines and leaflets as well as maintaining our digital presence and social media profiles across 5 food brands.
- Taken classes or has experience in production and pre-press and understand the technical aspects of preparing files for press. (Binding, pagination, paper stock selection, CMYK / RGB and Pantone libraries, lithographic v digital press and etc )
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud core programmes.
- Must have excellent skills in Adobe InDesign and good proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and detailed knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to work with vector graphics in Illustrator; creating and editing logos and other vector based files.
- Reasonable Photoshop retouching skills; ie removing blemishes, colour correction, background exclusion.
- Excellent written language skills and ability to articulate creative, abstract ideas both written and verbal.
- An interest in food, food styling, cooking or bakery is a welcome advantage.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel also required
- Good customer service skills and the ability to treat internal company stakeholders as clients.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to and keep strict deadlines and maintain a press / print schedule.
- The ability to “own it and run with it” is a must.

Familiarity with technical requirements for graphics across multiple Social Media platforms and a keenness on undertaking marketing and an auxiliary skillset is a particular importance.
