**A Hybrid working model**

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. **What does a Pipeline Scrum Master do at Hogarth?**

**Reporting lines and key stakeholders**

This role reports to the Global Head of VFX Pipeline

**Key Role Responsibilities**
- Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to - must be able to be a pragmatic voice of reason
- Organise and facilitate backlog cleansing, project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings
- Must be the first to notice risks and issues as they arise and mitigate them where possible or escalate them appropriately
- Continually take an interest in new technologies, methods, and techniques
- Conflict resolution - must be able to facilitate discussions on improvements and/or alternative responses
- Keep the team focused on the current Sprint
- Maintain process and project documentation
- Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team accountability and visibility
- Assist with prioritisation and resolution of defects/bugs
- Remove impediments for the development teams and shield them from external distractions.

**Requirements**:

- A Certified Scrum Master, with experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an Agile Software Development Environment
- Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
- Being confident to be able lead stand-ups and other Scrum related meetings, whilst working in higher pressure environments.
- Results orientated, confident and persuasive
- Help to create a positive environment of enthusiasm, empowerment and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
- Excellent attention to detail, logic and problem solving skills
- Understand methodologies to speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to the team/enterprise
- Collaborate with other teams and provide technical advice where appropriate
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience in an VFX/Advertising/Technology/Media/Production agency environment
- Previous experience with advertising production industry tools such as digital content creation and workflow automation software and Digital Asset Management would be beneficial but not essential
