- **National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena Nottingham**, which incorporates National Merchandise and National Catering.
- We are the premier entertainment venue in the East Midlands with 2 Olympic sized ice pads and an arena with a crowd capacity of 10,000.
- At our venue we showcase the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment, and sport. We host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year.
- We are also home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, which plays 30+ home league and cup games each season.
**National Merchandise** offers a wide range of services including merchandise development, venue merchandise sales management and live event merchandise sales.
- National Merchandise manages the merchandising teams for our Arena, the O2 London, Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena, and Liverpool's Echo Arena to name a few. In addition, it manages merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date events, and merchandise sales at live events and festivals in venues around the UK.
- No event is too large or too small for National Merchandise it covers all level of events from a small sporting event to a large stadium concert event.

**Further information**
- Our Logistics Co-ordinator will support in the delivery of National Merchandise and National Catering operations, managing the co-ordination of vehicles and staff around the various locations of events. Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of company logistics assets.
- In addition, our Logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for all elements of the company Operators (O) Licence.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Managing the process of the servicing and maintenance of National Merchandise, National Catering and National Ice Centre assets - primarily festival assets, including vehicles, and upkeep of service records in accordance with all elements of the company O licence.
- Creating strong and close relationships with all National Merchandise site managers.
- Building close relationships with the National Ice Centre’s partners relating to vehicle fleet movement and maintenance, in particular Nottingham City Council.
- Taking ownership of health and safety relating to National Merchandise and National Catering, representing the team at the monthly company health and safety meeting.
- Organising drivers to support the merchandise operational delivery, to and from events at various arenas and festival sites in the UK and Ireland, including route planning and associated requirements (eg parking arrangements, tolls, accommodation, etc).
- Overseeing the maintenance of the National Merchandise trailers in conjunction with our Driver.
- Liaising with Merchandise Managers and the Driver to organise the delivery and installation of trailers as needed.
- Training staff in opening and closing procedures of the trailer fleet, the safe driving process, and ensuring all drivers scheduled to work are on the Approved Drivers List for the relevant vehicles.
- Reviewing accidents and incidents related to company and hire vehicles; identifying trends and implementing improvements and training to reduce incidents.
- Managing the vehicle insurance claims process.
- Supporting business proposals for replacement of assets (vehicles and trailers) as and when required.
- Setting vehicle and trailer maintenance budgets.
- Management and administration of the booking system and calendar for company vehicles.
- Assisting with asset and storage control for the National Ice Centre.
**Skills and Experience**
They will have experience of towing and moving trailers and driving larger vehicles, with knowledge of using a tachograph and managing the driver tachograph process and a working understanding of the driving hours regulations.
Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills, they will be open and approachable and willing to problem solve to find solutions.
