Mealtime Assistant

To work as part of the in-patient team based on the Unit.
Ward based, the postholder will be key in maintaining a quality service by contributing to the patients’ nutritional requirements and to the patients/ward environment.
Liaison with other departments in the day-to-day care and safety of patients.
To support and assist Sister/Charge Nurse in meeting patients’ and visitors’ needs through the performing of a variety of duties.
To assist patients with spinal cord injury to eat and drink in a safe and timely manner.
To consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness while working with Housekeeping Team.
To ensure supplies of essential items are always available
