**Job summary**:

- Corporate Business Services are recruiting a Peformance Team Senior Officer for the Performance Team within the Business Management Team (BMT). The BMT sits within the Business Services function of the Corporate Business Services umbrella.**Job description**:
This role will provide effective business support, administration and governance to corporate and central services functions in addition to contributing towards the achievement of the NCA’s Target Operating Model and strategic objectives.

**Person specification**:

- Manage/Supervise a team supporting the business through policy development, planning, performance, service delivery and governance
- Support Senior Management with CBS Risk & GFS Management updates and maintenance
- Set up and record meetings with management of business areas around KPI reviews, in order to ensure that CBS performance is linked with the wider aims of the Agency
- Take responsibility for the timely completion of CBS and Capabilities Performance Packs, ensuring that a clear, easy to understand and concise pack is used to DG and D/DD level each month
- Manage and direct resources to ensure work is completed within agreed timescales/financial constraints and quality standards, in line with Agency policy
- Supervise the research, development, collation, co-ordination and dissemination of management information, including policy, reports, briefings, business plans, risk registers, presentations and web based communications (as appropriate)
- Provide secretariat support to Director/Senior management, to ensure the priorities of the Private Office are met and appropriate standards maintained (as required)
- Supervise the quality, secure handling and dissemination of data/information, maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and a duty of care in line with Agency policy
- Work with government departments, statutory bodies, private organisations, academia and industry (as appropriate) and attend working groups, committees / meetings
- Develop policy, reports, procedures and manage/monitor data systems across business areas
- Manage/coach and develop staff. Including the setting and supporting of objectives in line with the direction of the team
- Manage issues relating to the performance and conduct of officers in line with Agency values/policy
- A good working knowledge of Government Functional Standards
- Data and analytical skills combined with Key Performance Indicator reporting methodology to provide a meaningful and concise dashboard for Director General level
- An excellent understanding of the reporting methodology in relation to performance and management information
