The Role:
As a Regional Credit Lead, you will manage a regional credit team in delivering key metrics and taking accountability and responsibility in cash collection, risk management and customer service. The Regional Credit Lead will optimise cash collection and managerelationships with customers through the Regional Operations teams. As a Regional Credit Lead, you will play an important part in reducing the overdue debt that the business have as a percentage of sales.
Please note, this is a maternity cover contract.
Key Responsibilities
Managing monthly credit meetings with senior stakeholders in Operations and Sales
Driving and influencing stakeholder decisions to enable optimum performance for regional cash collection
Evaluating credit limit decisions and monitoring risk management
Interpreting balance sheets with qualitative and quantitative under-writing in liaison with internal and external stakeholders
Escalating when required and managing stakeholders when decisions need to be made
Working closely with litigation department to ensure credit accounts in default have met correct protocols
Ensuring commercial and branch network is serviced with all credit requirements in a high paced and demanding environment
Ensuring that SLAs are designed and adhered to and aligning the business expectations of service to the agreements
Driving continuous performance improvement of all team members through building skills, coaching, knowledge and overall competence, ensuring personal development plans are regularly reviewed
Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders in ensuring risk is sensibly managed
Agree and manage repayment plans with defaulting payment plans for customers
Working with senior level operations stakeholder at Director level to ensure business performance is optimised in cash collection activities and query resolution

Skills and competencies
MCICM (Grad) ACICM is preferred
Experience of leading a high performance team
Proven track record of performance and process improvement in credit management
Excellent MI analysis skills
Excellent stakeholder management at senior level
Excellent knowledge and experience of; Credit Risk Litigation, Trade Credit, Cash collection processes
