**Your Mission**
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of People will work closely with the People Team, the Executive Team and the rest of the business to help bring out the very best in our boxxers. Responsible for nurturing a performance driven culture, ensuring consistent and dynamic employee engagement and raising the bar when it comes to employee experiences and wellbeing.

**How you’ll fit in to the big picture**
You will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the People Team and for rolling out initiatives across our UK-wide workforce. Reporting directly to the General Counsel and work closely with the Executive Team to establish and implement the People strategy, you will provide insightful solutions to employee issues and culture.
As a senior leader, you will be the driving force to roll out employee initiatives across the company, and support boxxe’s continued growth trajectory. You will be a highly organised and people motivated individual, who is a self-starter and seeks an exciting leadership position within a fast-growing technology business. You will be passionate about performance and making a positive impact on people’s work life.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Hands-on approach, think on your feet, and a real passion for people and their experiences
- As part of the SLT participate in the development of the business strategy. Maintain a sound knowledge of company goals, strategy, competition and culture, and assist the General Counsel, Executive Team and SLT to integrate People policies into the wider company goals and strategic objectives, bringing market knowledge and experience to the table
- Translate the boxxe strategy, and our vision and values into a progressive and diverse People Strategy, encompassing attraction, recruitment, induction, engagement, reward, retention, diversity and inclusion, cultural development and talent development.
- Be accountable and responsible for the development, achievement and evaluation of the People Strategy and objectives.
- Embed business partnering and support the SLT to ensure we have a strong, engaged and effective management team delivering the strategic goals of the company
- Passionate about flexible/remote working and will be instrumental in ensuring that all boxxers are equipped to share an optimal work experience wherever they are
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve our People function by looking for ways in which we can become even more efficient and effective with a focus on; recruitment, employee retention, L&D and performance management culture. Building across our expanding workforce, whilst engendering a continuous improvement mindset amongst the People team
- Drive initiatives that improve employee retention, engagement and productivity and liaise with the marketing team to continuously improve our employee brand and profile
- Continue to improve our current onboarding process
- Continuously monitor and review People policies and processes and implement changes where necessary
- Support boxxe Community by ensuring there is a wide and diverse range of pro bono and volunteering activities for boxxers to get involved in
- Manage and lead the wider People Team and their day-to-day objectives
- Assist the General Counsel to actively manage the People team budget and provide opportunities for both cost savings and identify new areas of worthwhile investment
- Further develop our transparent feedback culture in all areas of the business
