**Can you work on a flexible basis outside of school hours, including weekends and school holidays?**

We are collaborating with our client to find Children and Young People’s Support Workers to work on a casual basis supporting disabled children with various needs within the community.

The rate of pay is £14.15 to £15.57 per hour and this role would especially suit someone who would like to develop their skills in this area.

Other benefits include online timesheets with weekly pay, holiday pay, pension, monthly team meeting and casual dress. If using own car, you will also be paid mileage for role related journeys.

**What to expect**:

- Looking after children and young people in their own home or at a setting in York on a 1 to 1 basis
- Encouraging children and young people to engage in the community
- Working with children and young people to help them develop no matter what their needs
- Working proactively and supportively with young peoples' families

**You will need to**:

- Have a driving licence and have access to a car and business insurance
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Have a children’s DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one
