**Salary**: £45,326+ depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Leading the Procure to Pay process for materials and components from obtaining prices, agreeing T’s and C’s through to the placement and management of multiple purchase orders on your suppliers, ensuring compliance with all Governance and Regulations
- Acting as the primary point of contact with suppliers, conducting regular Order Book reviews and taking appropriate action to expedite delivery where required
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the product or service provision meets the governance requirements of the business and our customers and delivers optimum value for money.
- Ensuring effective supplier relationship management maintaining strong, effective relationships with suppliers
- Proactively monitoring and communicating supplier’s key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring schedule adherence and quality assurance performance
- Travel to suppliers to lead Business and Orderbook reviews

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Extensive Procurement experience, preferably in a fast paced aerospace, defence, regulated or manufacturing market
- Supply Chain orderbook management experience including experience of high volumes of purchase orders, supplier updates, queries and invoices
- A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders by using excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution, ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment
- Demonstrative working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP systems, Tableau, Microsoft Office EXCEL essential
- Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations

Desirable:

- CIPS qualification or working towards, other similar qualification, or qualified by experience

We have a number of vacancies in our fast paced Procurement Teams where, as a Senior Procurement Professional, you will support your team by leading some or all of the many procurement activities ranging from obtaining prices, agreeing T’s and C’s, placing the Purchase Order through to managing the final deliverable and completing supplier invoice payment.

This role will challenge you to bring your own individual skills and creativity in order to inspire an effective procurement service and in turn, provide you with the opportunity to further your career within the function.
