**Maintenance Assistant**

No matter how great our hotels or products are, Guests will not return if we do not deliver stand out service, it is that simple. For that reason, we want to make sure that everyone in the hotel delivers world class service, on time, and to the highest standards. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and need people to work in a range of shifts and days, this means flexibility is required. The hotels busiest periods are during evenings and weekends, any specific working pattern requests can be discussed at interview.

Set in 1100 acres of English countryside, East Sussex National offers a perfect retreat for both business and leisure guests. With 104 beautiful bedrooms, Health Club, Swimming Pool, Spa (with 9 Treatment Rooms, Rhassoul and Heat Experience) and two championship golf courses. East Sussex National also offers a wide range of meeting and events space which is ideal for day meetings, residential conferences or that special social event.

**Maintenance Overview**

Our maintenance team are the unsung heroes of the hotel, ensuring that the hotel and equipment within, functions as it should. As a new addition to our team, your will provide experience of painting and decorating work.

Your day will consist of anything from changing bulbs to working on the boilers, the role is varied and covers the entire estate including properties on the course, so you will need to be flexible and able to work with teams in all departments who will offer help and support.

**Maintenance Assistant Key Skills/Experience**
- Painting and decorating experience as both repair and preventative maintenance
- Management of paint stocks
- Health and Safety knowledge in relation to maintenance function
- Providing support to the wider team, ensuring works are completed on time and within budget
- Good approach to customer service as you will be interacting with guests
- Able to drive and work as part of the on-call rota

Pay: £23,795.20 per year
