A practice based in Northwich requires an experienced Senior Payroll Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work as part of a small team, responsible for the timely and accurate processing of client's payroll.

**Responsibilities**
- Management of own portfolio of client's payrolls
- Setting up new starters, processing leavers
- Calculation of hours, pay adjustments and bonuses
- Processing end-end payroll across weekly, fortnightly, lunar, monthly and annual payrolls
- Calculation of payments and deductions, incl. SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, holiday pay etc
- FPS and EPS submissions
- Pensions submission to multiple providers
- Managing client queries relating to pay

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years' processing payroll from start to finish
- Must have client payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation
- Good technical knowledge, including ability to manually calculate payslips
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good systems knowledge, including strong excel skills
