- As Multi-Agency Screening Team (MAST) Administration Officer you will be responsible for specific administrative tasks, portfolio work and projects to the MAST Team. This will include the sharing of data with partner agencies, researching and collating reports and the scanning and recording of documents. You will work cooperatively with partner agencies, team members and colleagues to maintain relationships and contribute constructively to the achievement of team safeguarding goals.
**About MAST**
- The concept of Multi-Agency Screening has been in existence for several years and aims to ensure consistent safeguarding services to children and young people. The importance of timely and targeted sharing of information in order to enhance the protection of children is widely recognised.
- The function of the MAST is to create an environment where sensitive information can be shared securely by the three agencies with statutory responsibilities related to Early Help and Safeguarding; Social Care, the Police and Health partners to decide on how best to support and safeguard children
**Key responsibilities**:
- Administrative support to Op Encompass to support the safeguarding of vulnerable children including the dissemination of Op Encompass reports to schools, the delivery of notifications, being the single point of contract for NYP and answering general internal and external enquiries.
- Administrative support to Missing from Home Coordinators, and Intelligence officers in relation to Domestic Abuse.
- Liaising with the public and outside agencies by telephone and written correspondence.
- Collating and presenting information to internal and external stakeholders for key decision making.
- Reviewing Public Protection Notifications for accuracy and producing reports to highlight service improvement to aid MAST management.
- Police checks at the direction of the safeguarding Detective Sergeants within the MAST.
- Handling highly confidential, personal, and sensitive information including completing NICHE, PNC and Partner Agency System checks to highlight possible safeguarding risk for the MAST staff. Review and prioritise Public Protection Notifications for on-ward decision making.
- General administrative support including ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment, managing the office calendar/diary, booking meetings and general office management.

- Be talented in using various IT systems including Microsoft Office.
- Be committed to delivering a high level of service with the ability to work as part of a team as well as under their own initiative.
