Operating out of our head office in Gateshead and supported by regional office, our large fleet of mobile engineers ensures that we can cover most of the UK be it for lift maintenance, lift repair or a lift modernisation.

**The opportunity**.

The role primarily covers working closely with our Financial Director in managing client / debtors accounts in an orderly manner. The credit control manager needs to liaise closely with clients and other departments to ensure the agreed risk strategy is implemented and adhered to. This environment is often fast moving, time critical and pressured.

**Skills.**
- Previous experience of working within a Credit Control role
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Excel skills essential
- Negotiating
- Meeting deadlines - working under pressure.
- Being flexible to deal with multiple customer accounts.
- Sage Accounting knowledge
- Being articulate and confident
- Relevant finance qualification would be advantageous however do not be discouraged if you do not have a qualification as suitable experience is equally desired.
- Approachable and polite - you’ll be approachable and helpful to both colleagues and customers.
- Organisational skills - you’ll be a key part of a busy office environment and you must be able to organise your time and resources effectively.
- Initiative - you’ll be required to work independently and demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in solving problems.
- Listening skills and empathy - you’ll have a talent for getting to the bottom of what the real issue is and unearth important details.

**Salary**: £23,433.00-£26,508.00 per year
