**Sales Development Representative**

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to the rapid growth of our client base.
About the role: A positive and confident communicator, you will be the first interaction for many prospective customers looking for a tech-led solution to their challenges. Your hardware and software expertise will showcase the business as an industry leader who truly understands the needs of their customer base. A driven and resilient sales professional, you will take accountability for nurturing your own leads, effectively building your pipeline and meeting/exceeding your targets month on month.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Identify new opportunities and generate your own leads.
- Conduct needs assessment calls with specific prospects.
- Convert leads into qualified prospects and develop a strong understanding of the lead’s pain points and key needs through thoughtful discovery questions.
- Effectively articulate SPARK’S value proposition and be able to handle objections and answer competitive questions.
- Schedule online product demonstrations.
- Maintain relationships with our prospects and users until their ready to qualify.
- Manage data of prospective clients in our CRM system, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise large lists of leads.
- Help with list building and other research projects.
**You will be**:
- Great at communicating: You love connecting with people and building rpport, and thrive on having conversations.
- Resilient: You have to be comfortable with the uncomfortable-aka-getting lots of no’s and outright rejections, as well as continuously hunt for new prospects.
- Goal-oriented: You have to be ok with hitting quotas, and therefore, need to have experience setting goals and following them through.
- Interest in sales: You don’t need to be a sales pro with years of experience in sales to succeed in this role. But what you do need is to have an interest in learning and be open to growing into the role.
- Team player: You want to perform exceptionally well individually, whilst working in a fun, positive environment with a close-knit team
- Phone-based sales experience
- Previous experience exceeding targets/KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve with customers
- Being tech-savvy and knowledgeable about current tech/software products
