Provides expertise and leads the entire recruitment cycle for all mid-level, internal and external, positions to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and equity.

**Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist**

As Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist you will manage the attraction of the best diverse talent required to drive our ambitious business goals. You will be responsible for partnering with hiring leaders and managing end to end hiring processes for permanent staff and contractors.

The Europe Talent Acquisition team is on a multi-year transformation journey. TA Optimisation will see us develop our service offering from transactional recruiting shop to a more sophisticated and cost-effective multi-channel talent attraction and selection proposition. To do this, the team has an ambitious set of project goals designed to enhance our technology infrastructure, diversify sourcing channels, and improve the recruiting and selection processes across the European footprint.

**About Vanguard**

Vanguard is an investment company unlike any other. It was founded by Jack Bogle in the US in 1975 on a simple but revolutionary idea: that an investment company should manage its funds solely in the interests of its clients. Jack helped bring investing to the masses with the index fund. Index funds do not pick individual shares or bonds to beat the market. They track the performance of the entire market. Or as Jack put it, "Don't look for the needle in the haystack. Just buy the haystack”. We have stood for low-cost, uncomplicated investing ever since. Over the last 45 years people have come round to our way of thinking and more than 30 million investors worldwide now trust us with their money.

**In this role, you will**
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and equity.
- Own and deliver HR Project workstreams aligned to TA Optimisation
- Prepare job offer materials in accordance with Pay and Rewards guidelines.
- Counsel hiring managers regarding recruitment strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization.
- Embrace opportunities to participate in TA projects and wider HR team projects

**What it takes**
- Related work experience, preferably in Financial Services, managing end to end recruitment projects in a complex, fast paced TA team
- Demonstrable experience driving outcomes against projects in a large, complex enterprise environment. Examples may be in technology enhancement or deployment, process optimisation or driving culture change with business stakeholders.
- Skilled communicator with excellent influencing skills and a thoughtful, considered approach - able to balance stakeholder requests with doing the right thing and following the defined process
