An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an outstanding Early Years Childcare organisation operating across two settings primarily based at Scotforth St Paul’s School in South Lancaster.
The setting has been operating within School for over 11 years and has reached outstanding status by creating a friendly, exciting learning environment where children can enjoy play, where whole setting development is encouraged & nurtured. As our services have become increasingly popular we are now ready to develop a new worker in training to support team management with a focus on leading outstanding early years provision.
Already level 3 qualified the vacancy involves working in school settings with nursery & primary aged children supporting activities and management during term-time wraparound and full day playschemes during our school holiday provision.
We know that the best leaders & managers are grown from the passion to provide excellent childcare and therefore we are looking for a qualified worker who may be looking to advance their skills alongside day to day childcare work.
The post is specifically designed to develop excellence in childcare leadership and management with the intention of the role further advancing within the management team when qualified to foundation degree level 5.
The apprentice would need to have a passion for working with children and a commitment to safeguarding. They would need to have at least 2 years proven childcare setting experience, leading children’s care and daily activities. Have an excellent work attendance record, excellent communication and organisational skills and a drive and desire to develop their skills to foundation degree level.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17.5 -40 per week
**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
