Humber Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a **Laboratory Assistant **for a long term assignment in Immingham that could lead to a permanent role for the right person.
- Reporting to and working with the guidance of the Laboratory Team Leader
- To book all incoming samples onto the sample registration system and ensure that all are correctly labelled ready for analysis
- To be trained in and carry out tests on received samples under the guidance of the Laboratory Team Leader
- To produce reports of results using Microsoft Word and send them to the relevant sales managers.
- To accurately enter results onto the quality database
- To operate with Good Laboratory Practice and within the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality System
- To ensure correct retention of samples in the storage area
- To be fully aware of, and operate to, the ISO accredited Quality (9001), Environmental (14001), and H&S (45001) standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
