**Location**: Sheffield (S9 1TR)

DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
- Planning a fleet of up to 40 vehicles, across 6 locations including 5 outbases
- Communicating with the transport team and customer throughout the day
- Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
-Previous experience in a Transport Planning role
- Knowledge of transport regulations and drivers hours etc
- Strong geographical knowledge of UK geography
- Experience using Paragon is desirable
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- IOSH or safety qualification is desirable
- CPC qualification is desirable
