Subcontract Coordinator

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major Manufacturer based in Sheffield in the search for a Sub Contract Coordinator. My client is a leading manufacturer currently operating at a c£70million turnover.

My client is looking for a highly organised individual to plan, coordinate and keep up-to-date records of sub-contractor workloads and performance to ensure customer demand is met. This role will require the ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors and manage their performance to promote efficiencies. The successful incumbent will be expected to ensure all required paperwork is accurate, provide daily internal updates on subcontractor statuses and work with the logistics department to coordinate deliveries between subcontractors and the main site.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- The daily co-ordination of subcontract/outplant requirements
- Effectively communicating with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to maintain efficiencies and keep to production schedules
- Review and maintain supplier performance
- Liaise with the logistics team to ensure efficient transportation of goods between the main site and subcontractors
- Raising of purchase orders and the expediting of goods for subcontracted services to support production plans and maintain on-time delivery
- Organised individual with strong communication skills
- Experience within supplier performance management
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience within a Planning and Logistics position
