The Supply Room is currently seeking a dedicated **Teaching** **Assistant** to join a **Specialist** **School** in **Wareham**, **Dorset**.

**As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support and empower students aged 16-25 with a diagnosis of Autism, helping them to develop their skills across various areas including horticulture, pottery, equine therapy, farm school, online retail, and life skills.**

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant position include:

- Provide personalized support and guidance to students on a one-on-one basis or within small groups, catering to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement engaging lesson plans that promote growth and confidence in students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the independence and social development of students.

To succeed in this role, previous experience, training, qualifications, or knowledge in childcare, education, health & social care are highly desirable.

Punctuality, reliability, and a passion for working with people are essential qualities we are looking for. The position requires full-time availability from Monday to Friday (8.30am - 4.00pm).

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a permanent position with a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract starting from day one. We offer a competitive pay rate of £80 - £85 per day.
