We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Fellow in Preventive Cardiology is available at the Oxford University Hospital (site John Radcliffe Hospital) funded by the Oxford NIHR Biomedical Research Centre. You will support existing studies and help initiate new clinical research protocols related to the management of the long-term cardiovascular consequences of pregnancy complications. Interest and experience in cardiovascular imaging is essential with opportunities to develop experience in echocardiography and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.

In the role you will contribute actively to the development of research protocols and subsequent collection of data in women with a history of pregnancy complications. You will also contribute to collection and analysis of relevant echocardiography and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging data (with appropriate training).

You are required to hold a Primary medical degree (BM BCh; MBBS, or equivalent), GMC registration and have relevant clinical experience in imaging, cardiovascular prevention and heart failure. Experience in conducting clinical research (for example protocol drafting, patient enrolment, data collection, data analysis, research reports and manuscripts drafting) would be desirable.

This is a full time appointment on a fixed term contract for 1 years and you will be based at the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility (CCRF), John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford, OX3 9DU.
