As the prescribing reference for general practice, MIMS has been providing GPs, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with concise, accurate and up-to-date medicines information for more than 60 years.

At the core of MIMS is a database of prescribing information for more than 3000 prescription products. In addition, MIMS offers a range of exciting resources to further support healthcare professionals, including our popular drug shortages tracker, a growing collection of drug reference tables, a regular news feed, summaries of treatment guidance, and visual guides to diabetes and respiratory devices.

The MIMS website (mims.co.uk) is updated constantly throughout the working day and the print edition, containing a selection of the online content, is published quarterly.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join MIMS as Associate Editor.

As Associate Editor, your role will be to create, update and review content for the MIMS drug database and all other MIMS resources both in print and online, ensuring its quality, consistency and timeliness. You will work to understand our audiences’ needs, and suggest and develop content to engage them.

From time to time you may also be called on to write, edit, review and commission content for MIMS-branded educational projects and other sponsored materials.

Basic knowledge of html and familiarity with Adobe InDesign would also be beneficial.
