**Role Details**:
As a member of the People Department, you will be responsible for accurate payroll data preparation for both the 4 weekly and monthly pay cycles. In addition, you will also provide generalist support to all managers and colleagues. This role is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave up to September 2024.

**Reporting to**:Head of People

**Key Responsibilities**:
**The responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to**:

- Maintain data on time and attendance systems, in particular shift data
- To input data on to payroll system accurately to minimise errors on employees pay
- Manage the weekly and month preparation of payroll data in line with deadlines
- Answering payroll queries and liaising with group functions when needed
- Updating relevant People KPI for monthly board presentations and other excel documents
- Update employee data, such as personal data, job and role profile data
- Assist with employee communication methods, such as updating notice boards
- Employee relation case work
- To provide generalist People support/guidance to managers as required
- To process holiday and other leave requests on to the time and attendance system
- Organising occupational health assessments
- Support with recruitment, including arranging open days, interviews and outcome correspondence
- Coordinate inductions alongside the compliance team as and when necessary
- General administrative support

**Required Skills**:

- At least 2 years administration experience, preferably within a HR function
- Previous experience of preparing payroll, or other complex data
- Good attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
- Good customer service skills

**Required Personal Attributes**:

- Good planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people is vital.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 13-15 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
