**Activities Director**

Woodeaves Residential Care Home are currently looking for a part-time Activities Co-ordinator to join our caring, enthusiastic and supportive team. As an Activities Co-ordinator you will be responsible for organising all social and recreational activities for the residents at our home. Your role will primarily involve getting to know our residents so you can plan activities to suit their individual needs and find out what they enjoy the most. We will look to you to develop engaging programmes that bring a lot of joy to our residents daily lives

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and direct activities for residents
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
- The ability to understand and follow instructions
- A friendly, kind, patient and compassionate personality

**Examples of Activities**:

- Arts and crafts
- Reading and poetry
- Language classes
- Singing and music activities
- Chair-based exercise
- Yoga or Pilates
- Bingo
- Quizzes
- Board games
- Trips to the theatre
- Excursions to nearby towns or places of interest

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.98 per hour
