Gardener/handyman

**GARDENER HANDYMAN POSITION.**

**Location of Works** - Ashover and Chesterfield.

**Works Description in brief**

To carry out Gardening operations which include, Grass mowing, hedge and shrub maintaining. Herbaceous border maintaining, planting, and splitting. Pruning and lopping shrubs and trees.

General garden cleanliness, paths fixing and repairs to minor walls and fences and gates, periodic gutter cleaning, painting externally to gates, fencing etc.

**Knowledge**

A keen interest in Gardening is required, with knowledge of plant species and when and how to maintain and prune, split and plant. Experience in Herbaceous Border and Topiary would be beneficial. Applicant must be able to demonstrate gardening experience through previous employment.

The position is full time Mon -Fri with some weekend works occasionally.

**Requirements**:
A full driving license, knowledge of general garden machinery and use i.e. mower, strimmer, hedge cutter, blower, small chain saw.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
