You will be significant in leading the direction of the organisation, ensuring services follow best practice, offers are responsive to clients’ needs and safeguarding is continually developed.

Established for over 40 years, this leading Norfolk charity proudly supports survivors of sexual and domestic abuse to recover, heal and build resilience. Their clients are at the heart of the organisation, and they are committed to using their voice to raiseawareness of the trauma related to abuse and actively work to prevent it from occurring and protecting those at risk.

**The day to day**
- Strategically leading the clinical direction of the organisation, ensuring the quality of service and competency of staff.
- Monitoring counselling and therapeutic offers and implementing improvements accordingly.
- Supporting the development of clinical quality within services following best practice.
- Leading regular service management meetings.
- Overseeing and leading development in safeguarding.
- Establishing therapeutic and clinical pathways in partnership with third parties.

**You will have/be**
- Minimum Diploma level qualification in counselling and 600 hours clinically supervised counselling experience.
- Previous experience in a senior counselling position.
- Accredited by BACP or other counselling/therapy UK regulatory body.
- Experience of leading and managing a team of staff and volunteers.
- Knowledge and understanding of effects of trauma in relation to sexual and domestic abuse within a professional capacity.
- A full UK driving license.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Norwich OR Great Yarmouth. The offered salary for this opportunity is £41,500 per annum.
