Bar Staff

The stationis a Clitheroe-based, family-owned and operated restaurant group. We are looking for a competent Bar Staff to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food service experience is desired but not required.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare food and drink orders in a timely manner
- Deliver food and/or drinks to customers’ tables according to customers’ requests or orders
- Take customers drink and food orders by standing or standing behind the counter
- Answer customers’ questions about ingredients, menu items and specials
- Help maintain the appearance of the restaurant area, including the counters where customers make bookings
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Keep the front and back of the house areas clean
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Communicate with guests who come in or out (including requesting help with food preparation)
- Provide authentic, professional service
- Maintain positive work-life balance
- Assist other team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor, as needed

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Food service experience, preferred but not required
- Proven working experience as a restaurant server or counter person is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-30 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
