**Job description**

We are a Midlands based company who have a great opportunity for a permanent, full-time role for Sales Coordinator at our site in Wednesbury.

**This is a varied role with key accountabilities including but not limited to the following**:

- Prompt Sales order processing and working with customer to obtain ordering schedules wherever possible
- Checking the progress of sales orders and keeping the customer updated
- Receiving and acknowledging sample requests form customers and working with the Design and Innovation Team and Account Managers to deliver in line with customer expectations.
- Providing delivery updates on a daily or weekly basis to customers.
- Filing and general office duties.
- Communicate and feedback with Head of Sales and Account Managers regarding any issues with customers or customer spend and performance.
- Working with the Sales Team you will act as the lead to ensure the smooth running of all accounts with schedules, orders and deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by embedding a strong and focused team within the sales department.
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients along with trying to generate new business opportunities.

**Sales Coordinator Requirements**:

- Professional telephone manner and excellent customer service skills at all times
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office including Excel)
- Numerate with outstanding accuracy to detail
- Team player
- Flexible and positive attitude with the ability to be self-motivated
- Experienced in a similar sales office environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
