As a Fraud & Error Performance Measurement Leader you will lead and support the delivery of the Performance Measurement work programme with responsibility for 100+ people across multiple sites, to enable the accurate reporting of Fraud & Error. As well as the use of this information to drive business change.

**Job description**:
Provide leadership in the delivery of the Performance Measurement work programme, enabling the accurate reporting of Fraud & Error statistics including their inclusion in the Annual Report and Accounts.

Set out criteria for optimum performance across the practice, leveraging Management Information to effectively manage throughput, productivity and quality.

Identify improvements in procedures, best practice and implement lessons learned.

Lead by example to inspire, motivate and engage with staff, supporting development and providing mentoring across the practice, being visible and accountable for decisions that are made.

Engage with key stakeholders at senior levels to negotiate and agree the work programme and external stakeholders, including Local Authorities, Delivery Businesses, Fraud & Error Service and in the liaison role required with the National Audit Office.

Identify, management and mitigate risks to successfully deliver business objectives.

Ensure the provision of safe and secure working environments and in keeping with legal requirements.

Agree the Performance Measurement work programme with a range of stakeholders, including analysts, statisticians, DWP Operations and the National Audit Office.

Lead and direct teams responsible for gathering Fraud and Error data relating to the Department's benefits.

Lead and direct the practice to deliver meaningful and consistent Fraud and Error information to the National Audit Office and Strategy & Business Units.

Lead the practice to minimise incorrectness within the data to inform and influence strategies Improve operational effectiveness by monitoring and reviewing performance.

Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Local Authorities, Delivery Businesses, Fraud & Error Service, the National Audit Office and Strategy & Business units.

Take responsibility for maximising the development of the team, including the development of in-house training products.

Encourage the implementation of learning interventions that deliver training at pace in a constantly changing technology and digital environment. Take advantage of formal, informal, and social learning utilising digital channels.

Streamline the customer experience, as part of the benefit review process, to ensure customer compliance with process.
