An exciting opportunity is available to take on a DevOps / Technical Engineer role with an innovative, successful and fast-growing Software as a Service company based near Abingdon in Oxfordshire (with a flexible remote working option where you'd be requiredonsite once a week). This is a genuine growth position that will provide a great platform for someone looking to push on in a DevOps capacity. Our client is in the process of moving their IT Infrastructure to Microsoft Azure creating a position to help manage,maintain and develop the new Azure infrastructure. Working within a small established team where no 2 days are the same, you'll have plenty of variety and will be positively encouraged and supported to explore and research innovative ways of working. Thisposition would equally suit someone with previous DevOps experience or someone with some of the core skills looking for an opportunity to develop them further.
Role Requirements:

- Understanding and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows server, Microsoft SQL server, IIS, Active Directory, basic networking etc.
- Experience of problem solving and having the drive to take an issue from root cause analysis through to a proven solution.
- Comfortable working on your own and as part of larger projects that involve several parties which could include external suppliers and/or customers.
- Being able to clearly communicate (both written and verbal) problems and solutions to people, some of which do not have a technical background.
- Contribute to current and future projects by being an active participant in all work along with assisting with day-to-day tasks and documentation.
