**Handy Person/Maintenance**

**Location
- **Tipton and Oldbury Sites

**Hrs of Work**-Core hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, however flexibility a must to meet business needs

**Overview of Role
- **To undertake general repair duties and maintenance of both facilities and equipment to ensure the continued effectiveness of the business’s day to day activities.

**Overview of duties-**
- Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
- Completing minor Electrical jobs
- General facilities maintenance
- General preventative maintenance on tools and equipment (mechanical saws, nail guns etc)
- Maintenance cleaning
- Weekly/monthly rack, ladder, crane, slings, FLT, Company Vehicle checks & inspections
- Supports Health & Safety
- Liaising with external specialists where applicable
- Identification and sourcing of replacement parts

**Skills and experience-**

**A working knowledge of regulations for**:

- Working at heights
- Asbestos
- Ladder and racking inspections
- H&S and Risk Assessments

**And in possession of the following Skills -**
- Safety awareness
- General maintenance
- Attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication
- Problem solver
- Flexibility
- Self motivated/driven

**Holders of the following Qualifications -**
- Driving Licence as some travel between two sites required

**And where possible -**
- Recent and up to date IEE Wiring Regulations (19th edition )
- C&G Parts 2 & 3 Electrical Engineers Installation

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
