We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Digital Marketing Executive, to develop and implement a growth and engagement strategy for our social media channels, manage our website and help the Brand Team with digital marketing campaigns.

**Job Title**: Digital Marketing Executive

**Location**: This role can be based at either of our 2 sites, Gravesend or Staplehurst. Travel between sites will be required occasionally

**Salary**: £25,000 - £28,000 pro rata depending on experience

**Hours**: 25 hours per week - ideally over 5 days per week but this can be flexible

Our company has 2 thriving Garden Centres based in Kent (Staplehurst and Gravesend) that are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We sell not just beautiful plants and everything needed for gardening, but also garden furniture, BBQs,gift, clothes, homewares, food and more We are leaders in our field in our efforts to promote eco-friendly gardening and are passionate about the environment.

**About the role**

Both centres run year-round events for adults and children such as our annual Rose Festival, Christmas Tree Weekend, Fundraising Festive shopping Evenings, school holiday entertainment and at Gravesend, gardening courses and our monthly gardening talks.

Our smallest centre at Staplehurst hosts a friendly greencafe, while Gravesend boasts a 300-seater restaurant, Food Hall and Butchers.

We also have an in-house loyalty programme offering rewards, treats and benefits to members.

All of these elements need to be showcased and shouted about to our customers and that’s where you come in

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the Brand Team, currently comprising the Marketing Manager, Events Co-ordinator and Designer, to ensure that all our digital marketing is the best it can be.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous training (a relevant degree in media, digital media, communications or marketing) and/or proven experience and skills in promoting products or events using social media marketing.
- You will be a creative and self-motivated individual
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A thorough understanding of each social media channel and its audiences and methods of paid marketing on those channels, eg Facebook boosts/Insta advertising.
- A passion for creating engaging and inspirational content in all formats - posts, tweets, reels, stories, blogs, videos etc.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent grammar and spelling.
- An understanding of the latest algorithms and updates to ensure all our social media is seen by the maximum audiences.
- The ability to analyse data, to ensure campaigns can be measured in terms of reach and engagement.
- The desire to learn and grow.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
- A positive and flexible approach.
- An interest in gardening/plants/the environment is desirable but not essential.
