Manchester, United Kingdom AJ Bell Full time

**Job Description**:
We're now recruiting for a Resourcer to join the Recruitment team.

As resourcer, you'll work closely with the Recruitment and HR teams to deliver agreed recruitment and resourcing requirements for the business, in particular the Customer Services and Operations administration teams.

The role has significant influence over the quality of the staff coming into the business and the time to hire; it, therefore, can contribute directly to team performance and engagement in all business areas.

The external facing nature of this role will also mean that the In-house Resourcer will play a significant part in promoting AJ Bell’s differentiators as an employer to ensure that we attract the best people to fill vacancies.

**About the role**:

- You'll gain a clear understanding of the customer service and operations administration role requirements and support hiring managers in their recruitment activities.
- You'll place adverts for open vacancies.
- You'll help organise and participate in selection/assessment events as required.
- You'll keep an ear to the ground on market trends and developments to support and influence hiring decisions within the customer services and operations departments.
- You'll support the wider recruitment team in competitor research and talent mapping.
- In the absence of the recruitment administrator, you'll provide ad hoc administration and reporting support.
- You'll support and enable the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.

**About you**:

- The preference is that you have proven resource experience in a fast-paced, volume resource role within a recruitment agency. We will consider a trainee who is passionate about people and starting a career in recruitment/talent acquisition.
- Experience in resourcing for one or more of the following: customer services, operations, administration, or any other volume recruitment role. Financial services recruitment is a bonus.
- Passionate about people and building relationships.
- Understanding of relevant legislation which impacts on UK recruitment, including immigration and visa requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure, multi-task and adapt with changing priorities.
- Target driven.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Any experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a bonus, though all training will be provided.
- Data protection and confidentiality.
- Team player.
