**Would you like to join the team?**

We are looking for Community Wellbeing Support Workers to join our growing organisation who are fun, compassionate and most of all caring and enthusiastic about helping others. This is a hugely rewarding opportunity to provide support and guidance helping individuals with day-to-day living. Our Community Wellbeing Support Workers help enable individuals to live within their own communities and to empower them to live as independently as possible by assisting them to: go shopping, prepare meals, attend appointments, take part in their hobbies, and keep themselves and their homes clean.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have an understanding of, or are willing to learn about acquired brain injury. So, if you are caring and professional and can adapt to the needs of the people we look after we would love to hear from you, in return you’ll get a great range of benefits, career opportunities and valuable life experience. Essential requirements include a driving license and smartphone.

We have a variety of roles available to suit all

Community positions in Shropshire

We have various shift patterns available located in the Shropshire area, with hours ranging between 2-8 hours per shift. This includes 1-1 work supporting male or female clients with their independence, helping with medication, with shopping and getting them out and about accessing the local community. This position is suitable for people looking for full or part-time hours.

24-hour Teams in Shrewsbury and Oswestry

We have full-time positions available on our 24-hour teams working 2-1 and completing 12.5-hour shifts, one located in Shrewsbury and the other in Oswestry. Both packages are supporting male service users with their daily living and personal care needs.

24-hour Team - Male only in Gobowen.

We have full-time position available for our male only package, working 1-1, and completing 12 hour shifts with a gentleman who lives in his own home assisting him with daily living activities.

**What do we offer?**

We can offer you a varied work pattern with flexible working schedules and set/structured rosters to help work life balance. We have permanent, part time and full-time contracts available ranging from 16 - 37 hours, with overtime also available. At Headway Shropshire, we are passionate about career development, and we encourage individuals to follow career pathways and development with additional training support.

**Benefits**:
We offer an excellent benefits package including a company pension scheme, company sick pay, healthcare benefits, Medicash scheme and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. We have competitive rates of pay, with the addition of 30p per mile and travel time, and a £10 mobile phone allowance.
