An SEN school in Guildford are seeking an SEN Primary Teacher to start ASAP on a full time basis.

The school is a small, unique education provision based in Guildford and offering a range of rich learning opportunities for pupils aged 4-11 years, for whom mainstream and other school settings have not worked. The school works alongside nuture pathwaysthat allows a greater opportunities to pupils that have had long periods of time out of education, or struggled with education. Pupils will be able address previous trauma and plan for a positive future (mentally, emotionally and academically).

To be considered for this SEN Primary Teacher position, you will need to-- Have experience working as a Teacher (teachers with and without QTS will be considered) or be an Early Careers Teacher (ECT)
- Provide support for pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of education or behaviour plans
- Establish trusted relationships with pupils and work with them on an individual needs basis.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils in the classroom
- Encourage pupils to interact in classroom learning and with their peers
- Promote self confidence and set individual tailored goals and challenges
- Be MAPA trained or willing to complete the course provided through the school
- Have Experience in youth work or relevant experience in behaviour management

Hours are 08:30-15:30 Monday to Friday, Term time only. Training is paid 15:30-16:30 every Tuesday.

This role will lead into a permanent placement, otherwise they will consider Teachers on long term supply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
