Unique School Solutions are seeking a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in the S2 area of Sheffield.

The school is a warm and welcoming environment with engaged students, supportive staff, and strong community links.

**This is a full-time, term time only position to start ASAP. Initially for a 12-week period with the potential to be offered a permanent contract following successful performance during this time.**

**The role of a Cover Supervisor**:

- Provide cover teaching for classes by delivering set work in the absence of their scheduled teacher.
- Be able to liaise with teachers to discuss cover work set for planned absence and to provide feedback about student progress and behaviour following the covering of lessons.
- Be able to support the use of ICT in delivering lessons and learning activities.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent or with suitable, relevant experience.
- Shares the school’s ethos that young people receive the best education possible in a supportive environment from people who care about them.
- Is passionate about teaching and learning and who will inspire our students to achieve their potential.
- Confident in their ability to manage a whole class of students within the age range 11 to 16.
- Be able to communicate appropriately and effectively with young people.
- Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily.
- Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged in set work.
