**Senior Manager (& Manager) - Quantitative Analytics/Credit Risk Modelling | Permanent | Glasgow/Hybrid**

Change Recruitment are working very closely with a first-class Financial Services provider based in Glasgow who are seeking a **Senior Manager (& Manager) - Quantitative Analytics/Credit Risk Modelling** who will essentially be responsible for the development and implementation support and maintenance of impairment, credit decision, stress testing, regulatory capital,planning, and risk reward models across this firms portfolio.

This portfolio covers Credit Cards, Mortgages, Unsecured Loans, Current Accounts, Business Banking and it’s Wealth offering

Essentially, I am seeking an experienced Senior Manager/Leader who has a deep understanding of how to develop and deploy credit risk models (capital/impairment/credit decision/stress testing) for the above portfolios

**Some further key accountabilities of this role/function/team are**:

- Manage a team of analysts, performing complex analyses and development of credit risk scorecards.
- Develop best-in-class models, including new models, calibrations of existing models and associated analytics.
- Provide expertise on development of regulatory models, including capital and impairments.
- Maintain knowledge of the regulatory guidelines (PRA, EBA) and landscape impacting models.
- Ensure compliance in the development, documentation and implementation of models with respect to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with Model Monitoring team to support smooth tracking of the models after implementation.

**Ideally you’ll have some of the below skills/experience**
- A background in statistics, mathematics, operations research or another quantitative discipline; or significant relevant industry experience
- Strong track record of model and analytics delivery
- Familiar with the use of **Python**:

- Strong experience in capital and impairment model development
- Full understanding of credit risk processes and strategies
- Knowledge of and experience with credit decisioning models and forecasting / stress testing models (IRB/IFRS9 etc)
- Knowledge of the Model Execution Framework (MEF)
