Senior Combat Systems Engineer

Senior Combat Systems Engineer. £45,000. Portsmouth. Hybrid and Flexible working. My client, a global defence company based in Portsmouth, are looking for a Senior Combat Systems Engineer with experience of design, installation, maintenance or operationof Weapon, Sensor or Communications systems, to join an exciting and expanding team. As a Senior Combat Systems Engineer with experience of design, installation, maintenance or operation of Weapon, Sensor or Communications systems, you will be working as partof a team of highly experienced, passionate and innovative engineers developing embodiment solutions for improvements to state-of-the-art defence vessels. This is an exciting senior level position that will provide you with a challenging role whilst allowingyou to develop your skills, learning from the experienced engineers around you.

As a Senior Combat Systems Engineer, you will:

- Design and develop embodiment solutions
- Generate statements of work
- Respond to design queries
- Support installation teams from a technical viewpoint
- Liaise with customers both internally and externally
- Present design reviews

Your skills and qualifications

Required:

- Experience of Design installation, maintenance or operation of Weapon, Sensor or Communication Systems
- Experience of managing subcontractors/teams
- Qualification in relevant electrical/engineering discipline or equivalent working experience
- Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales
- Good communication skills both written and verbally

As a Senior Combat Systems Engineer with the relevant experience in design, installation, maintenance or operation of Weapon, Sensor or Communications systems, you will earn a starting salary of £45,000 - £50,000 and will be entitled to a range of excellentbenefits, as well as huge career growth and training opportunities. This role would be classified as a hybrid working position.
