Our client is looking to hire a Procurement Policy Advisor - Social Value - Predominantly remote working, for approximately 12 months.

We are looking for a procurement specialist with in-depth experience in end-to-end procurement, social value, KPIs and supplier experience. As Policy Advisor you will assist in the next phase of continuous improvement activities.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Assist in the next phase of continuous improvement activities with a particular focus on performance management and reporting.
- Identify updates needed to ensure compliance.
- Draw upon a number of existing sources of lessons learned and best practice and the findings of the organisation’s engagement with supplier representative bodies
- Collate and analyse this existing research, engage stakeholders and contribute to a report setting out the next steps
- Chair, present and facilitate group and one-to-one meetings, in person and by video with stakeholders and report writing.

**Key requirements**
- In depth experience in end-to-end procurement, social value, KPIs and supplier experience
- Working knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations
- Contract management methods and how to improve supplier performance
- Report writing
- Stakeholder engagement: relationship building, influencing; confident in presenting to and chairing engagement sessions with procurement clients, senior supplier representatives, SMEs and VCSEs.
- Data monitoring and analysis

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of the new Procurement Bill, commercial policy development.
- Experience of a range of procurement categories, particularly digital and technology.
