**ABOUT YOU**
You will be a talented, passionate individual with some knowledge and expertise of working in a similar role. You will bring your strong organisational skills to multitask and prioritise a range of different activities. In this role, no two days are the same and in being a part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of different HR disciplines to support approximately 140 employees.

We provide free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages.

**THE JOB**:
**RECRUITMENT & SELECTION**:
- Support the HR team through your organised and pro-active administrative approach. This includes co-ordinating the recruitment process in line with Safer Recruitment.
- Co-ordinate Recruitment and Selection process by:
- Placing adverts
- Support the HR Co-Ordinator to ensure all new starter / onboarding information is processed in a timely manner, particularly DBS, references, and Occupational Health
- Ensure that employee files are managed with information being saved in their folder and on the HRIS
- Supporting the team to ensure essential employee information is processed in good time for monthly Payroll
- Support the team to ensure the on & off-boarding processes are managed effectively. This includes informing payroll, IT and other key stakeholders as appropriate
- Ensure that all confidential information is retained and disposed of in line with the Data Protection Act and Garden House Hospice Care policies
**HRIS**:
- Ensure that employee files are managed with information being saved in their folder and on the HRIS.
- Supporting the team to ensure essential employee information is processed in good time for monthly Payroll
- Support the team to ensure the on & off-boarding processes are managed effectively. This includes informing payroll, IT and other key stakeholders as appropriate
**GENERAL**:
- Work collaboratively and supportively within the HR team as well as other departments to ensure that HR are represented in a professional, agile and pro-active manner. In doing so, you will help HR achieve its objectives
- Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data.
- Any other reasonable management requests
- Support the team to ensure regular audits are undertaken to ensure GHH adheres to safer recruitment. This includes monthly DBS, NMC _(and any other relevant governing bodies)_ checks
