Full Time Breast Screening Mammography Associate Practitioner Apprenticeship - Band 4; 70% of the salary in the first instance at Central & East London Breast Screening (CELBSS)

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is the host trust for the Central & East London Breast Screening, North London Breast Screening Service (NLBSS), and The London Administration Hub.

This busy service will require you to work in both static and mobile screening sites on a rotational basis. CELBSS offers screening in seven locations across London including Camden, Islington, City and Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

The initial training will be carried out at the North London Breast Screening Service (NLBSS) at Edgware Community Hospital.

We are looking for someone with a mature outlook, excellent people skills and an interest in women’s health. This dynamic service would be a great opportunity for an individual looking to enhance their career development in health care.

**Apprenticeship Entry Requirements**:

- 18 years or older
- Be Legally allowed to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the last three years
- You must hold GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths at grade 4 or above or A* to C.

If you don’t have these qualifications you might be able to achieve them as part of the programme.
- If you have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3. British Sign Language qualifications are an alternative to English qualifications for which this is their primary language.

Apprentices will attend St George’s Breast Screening or the Jarvis Breast screening Centre Guildford. The 12-18 month course comprises of both practical and theoretical work based learning components.
