Catering Assistant

The Trust is looking to recruit several Catering Assistants working a range of hours on a rota basis which will include weekends.

Working in a retail café, cash handling, serving of customers, general cleaning and tidying.

Responsibilities includes carrying out all tasks competently, effectively and efficiently. Guidelines for HACCP, COSHH, Health & Safety, Hygiene and IPC must be followed as per Trust and departmental policies.

To assist in general Catering Assistant duties to ensure the smooth running the catering department. This could involve working in catering retail units, patient catering or general back of house and stores work.

To undertake a range of Catering duties carried out competently, effectively and efficiently to a high standard of cleanliness, safe practices and within the guidelines of of Hygiene, Health and Safety/ COSHH Trust policies and other associated duties throughout the Catering department and associated areas.
