Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom GLL Full time

**Volunteers - Community Sports**

**Based**:The Queens Diamond Jubilee Centre**

Volunteers have always been the lifeblood of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and nowhere more so than with Better who run the London Aquatics Centre and Copper Box Arena at the Park. We take Olympic legacy seriously and recruit volunteers to work with us at our iconic venues to help promote sport and physical activity sessions throughout the community.

Better, run by GLL, is the largest leisure social enterprise in the UK and we’re currently looking for enthusiastic, customer-service oriented volunteers to help us run community and sports events. You’ll do everything from helping us to promote sports and physical activity to the community, to helping our coaches set up and run sessions and checking the standards and safety of equipment with sports clubs.

With a passion for sport and fitness, you’ll be a great communicator, reliable and confident enough to talk to a diverse group of people with differing needs and expectations. This opportunity offers great work experience as well being challenging and rewarding - and with a fast-growing brand like Better, who knows where it could take you.
