**Joiner**

**Location - Covering Edinburgh and the Central Belt of Scotland - **typically working 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (Plus on call 1 in every 7 weeks)**

**An outline of your responsibilities and experience**
- **Joiner** experienced in working on all aspects of maintenance joinery including: domestic joinery, replacing kitchen components, plaster boarding, forced entry repairs, mechanism works and windows
- Experience working on reactive repairs in the main but with a possibility of void properties a distinct advantage
- Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
- Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
- CSCS card or CSkills preferred but not essential as training will be given
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
- Must be available to work on call 1 in every 3 weeks (this will be paid at an enhanced rate)
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
- This role will require a DBS check to be taken

**About You**

Ideally you will possess a Carpenter/joinery qualification, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.
