Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a Trade Retail Distribution company, based in Sheffield or Leeds. The business is at start of their digital transformation journey, and the new website architecture will provide the foundationsfor local trading brands to build stronger customer relationships, and ultimately support sustainable business growth.
- Location: Office / Home (3 days per week in the office)
- Office: Leeds or Sheffield (Leeds preferred)
Your main duties as an eCommerce Manager will include:

- Day to day management of the local trading brand websites (Magento/Adobe Commerce, multi-storeview configuration) to optimise digital trading performance, supporting wider business objectives through digital corporate content, enquiries landing pages andlead generation campaigns
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor team performance against KPIs
- Continuous review and improvement to eCommerce trading processes - coordinating between the ecommerce team, operations (branches and suppliers) and other key stakeholders to deliver a seamless digital customer journey
- Execution of technical SEO recommendations, working with their SEO agency partner. Monitor and improve organic SEO through content production and usage
To be successful in the role as eCommerce Manager, you will be:

- Good understanding and previous hands-on experience of eCommerce platforms - Ideally Magento. Working knowledge of a Product Information Management (PIM) system - Ideally Akeneo
- Experience working in an eCommerce environment - Ideally a store-based operational model
- Competent user of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager (or appetite to learn)
- Interest in and understanding of digital marketing
- CSS and HTML experience (desirable)
