Working Hours | Monday-Friday 35 hours between 9am-5pm.
Salary | £22-000 per annum
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join the recruitment team at our Head Office in Knowsley, Liverpool.

The Human Resource provides overall advice, guidance and direction on human resource management issues and administrative support functions related to the management and recruitment of its employees. The team is split into two sections, consisting of a Human Resources & a Recruitment team.
Reporting into the HR Manager, the primary objective of the HR Administrator is to provide administrative assistance and day to day support to the HR Team. This will involve administering HR documentation and supporting with the onboarding processes. You will also act as a first point of call for queries coming into the department including queries relating to Absence Management, Training & Development, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and basic health & safety queries.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- Performing data entry roles Including populating absence and financial reports.
- Managing Inventory of office supplies, including stationery and IT equipment to ensure smooth office operations.
- Creating travel bookings for business executives, employees, and company events.
- To provide administrative support to the HR and Recruitment Teams.
- To promote a positive and professional image of the "People" department at all times adhering to company policies procedures and standards.
- Responsible for inputting data into HR information system ensuring that staff records are kept up to date including filing, issuing of contracts of employment, references and other staff related paperwork.
- Produce and distribute accurate notes.
- To work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.
- Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
- Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.

To be effective in this role the HR Administrator will need to:
- Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team &
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
**Skills**:
To be successful in this role the HR Administrator will:
- Ideally have previous administrative experience and be educated to a Level 4+ in Math’s and English, preferable but not desirable.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong administrative skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Be IT literate with a high level of competence in word and excel.
- Be able to demonstrate reliability in meeting objectives.
- Be proactive with a flexible attitude to work.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills - with the ability to work well with others.
- Can work under pressure in a busy office environment.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
