As CCO specialist in SDS you will manage the compliance workload, driving process improvement activities in the Product Compliance team, and embedding best practices into business as usual.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect or coordinate collection of appropriate data for creating/revising SDSs, from various sources such as development team, supplier Safety Data Sheets and internal ingredient/formulation databases
- Planning and execution short to medium term workload by authoring or coordinating SDS authoring activities within Chemical Compliance team to meet timelines.
- Review the created SDSs, generate CLP/ GHS classification codes, ingredients list and sensitizers list for Labelling artwork and distribute or coordinate distribution of SDS to users, including tracking of all Safety Data Sheet requested and issued to End Market, Manufacturers, Develop, Deploy, supply chain and/or 3rd party companies.
- Understands and applies their responsibilities under the EH&S policy.
- Oversee and produce detailed COSHH assessments.
- Ensures the confidentiality of all supplier information is maintained to ensure their trust, support and co-operation.

Qualifications and Experience
- Preferred degree or background in a chemical technical discipline e.g., Chemistry BSc (Hons); Chemical Engineering and Management BEng (Hons); Engineering Business Management BEng; etc
- Previous experience and good understanding in creating SDSs. Experience on SDS creation software
- (VERISK 3E platform knowledge would be an advantage)
- SDS creation and revision and of regional requirement variations with GHS style regulations.
- Familiar with what are other companies doing to ensure chemical safety for their products and consumables under the EU, Ireland or any other country/region specific regulations.
- Familiar with the roles of chemical compliance in defining hazards of chemicals and hazards symbols on packaging labels of products.
- Demonstrable experience of regulated chemical or product compliance.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency particularly beneficial. Experience in using document management platforms.
- Working knowledge of global chemical regulatory requirements, and the Global Harmonised System (GHS) framework for chemicals.
- Maintains awareness of the current & emerging chemical regulatory environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
