The post holder’s responsibility is to provide clinical input to the design, build, implementation, and business as usual processes of the ePROM programme. It is the aim of the post holder to support and deliver effective organisational transformation as the use and functionality of ePROMs develop. The post holder will work as part of the ePROMs Project Team, under the direction of the ePROM Project Manager, and will be clinically responsible to the Chief Clinical Information Officer - Nursing and AHP.

This role will sit within the Digital Clinical team, where the post holder will act as lead for ePROMs for the team, whilst supporting colleagues across the current portfolio of projects to ensure cross cover is provided when required to promote team working.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ePROMs Project Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of ePROMs in all disease groups, treatment modalities and supportive services where appropriate by working closely with the Project Manager and engaging with clinical teams.
- Be involved in clinical engagement activities with Christie oncologists, nurses, and AHPs to shape and improve the ePROM service.
- Collaborate with technical colleagues within Digital Services to improve the visualisation of ePROM in the electronic patient record.
- Provide domain expertise in the design and use of ePROMs.
- Lead and participate in business analysis activities to inform the ePROM design and roll out.
- Design and carry out elements of system testing.
- Ensure that any issues and change requests raised through the project are processed via the appropriate mechanism.
- Ensure that the Project Manager is informed of any relevant risks and issues arising from the Project.
- Provide clinical input into any Root Cause Analyses or clinical safety activities arising from the Project.
- Design and participate in end user training including the creation and review of training materials.
- Demonstrate a degree of flexibility when organising, managing, and planning workload.
- Work autonomously to plan and organise the key relevant stages of the project under the post holder’s area of work.
- To attend the ePROMs Project Board and Project Team meetings where required and keep up to date with minutes and highlight reports.
- Take initiative in providing best quality patient and clinician experience.
- Engage various staff group on a regular basis.
- Produce, or contribute towards, high impact peer-reviewed publications.
- Work closely with Analytics to document the scope and methodology used for preparing and analysing ePROMs data

Communication and Relationship Skills

**The post holder will**:

- Provide comprehensive information about the service to patients, carers, and clinicians.
- Actively communicate and engage with patients and clinical staff to facilitate the successful development of the ePROM service and its establishment in routine clinical care.
- On occasion, deal with distressed patients and/or carers in a sensitive and confidential manner.
- Support with Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) activities.
- Prepare and organise project meetings as well as regularly attend the meetings on a regular basis.
