We are recruiting for Children's Support workers to work in Assisted living, Residential and School settings based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. The children that we support will have a range of different health-needs including challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and trauma.

We are in a position to offer both full time and part time hours, which can be a sole source of income or which can be treated as an alternative position alongside your permanent place of work.

**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Getting to know the children, their needs and interests
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £12.82-£20.00 per hour
